Hi guys! Thanks so much for such a warm welcome! There are so many good mashup blogs, I didn’t know if people would find this one. If you’re only familiar with one of the shows, I thought I’d clarify why I thought these two shows would make such good mashups. The shows are basically both centered around people in the service industry who hate their jobs, and are biding their time until something better comes along, and the clueless, rich assholes they have to put up with on the job to make a living. That’s painting with very broad strokes, I realize, but at least that’s the connection that gave me the idea for Party Downton.
